ARLINGTON, VA. — On April 11, 2019, the Arlington Professional Firefighters and Paramedics Association, Local 2800 of the International Association of Firefighters, endorsed Theo Stamos for re-election.
“Theo has spent years making Arlington a safer community, and her experience and expertise has shown,” said Brian Lynch, President of the Local 2800. “When our members have been assaulted in the course of saving lives, we have seen her office take into account the victims perspective, while at the same time working to get the offenders the mental health help they need. Our community needs her experienced leadership as Commonwealth’s Attorney.”
“Our firefighters put their lives on the line every day to serve the community and keep us safe,” said Commonwealth’s Attorney Stamos. “I’m deeply honored to have their endorsement and am committed to continuing my work together with Arlington’s public safety professionals to continue to make Arlington the Public Safety Success Story it is.”
